The gang shootout in Nayarit was on the road that I alway drive, it happened about 5pm. just a few kilometers from the turn-off to go down to San Blas and follow the shoreline road on to Las Varas and into Puerto Vallarta. My friends who live in San Francisco (San Pancho) always take this road instead of the winding road down from Tepic thru Compostela. Scary perhaps the "Guia Roji" should have little red cross marks on their maps showing where violencia has occurred. Don
