Again just in my opinion and without trying to offend anyone, I think the Ethics of Aesthetics if anything supports my point in a way, your aesthetic is created by your culture and surroundings you can't blame the people of La Manzanilla for not being up to your artistic standards. There are a lot of local people who actually enjoy the music and the Padres initiative to involve the town in the church activities.

They are happy to be celebrating "La Eucaristia" right now, and these types of celebrations "loud, ridiculous, Brady Bunch type music" will continue until the end of Semana de Pascua (so brace yourselves!).

The contemporary view of beauty is not based on innate qualities, but rather on cultural specifics and individual interpretations

"If he proclaims something to be beautiful, then he requires the same liking from others; he then judges not just for himself but for everyone, and speaks of beauty as if it were a property of things."

Asking Dona Linda who has lived in front of the Church her whole life, her opinion on the Matter she just replied:

"Si he escuchado muchas quejas, pero es la celebracion de "El Santisimo", Se tienen que aguantar"! - (almost in a reprimanding manner, like we should all know why this was happening!)

And I'm sorry to say I still think it's offensive, specially when I see people actually mocking these type of things that pretty much define us as a town and people.

Saludos !
