We are staying a little above the church in La Manzanilla. There seems to be as many birds as last year here. The other day we must have seen over 500 calenderias (the black bird with yellow on it's wing) fly by at sunset. Lots of parapets, flycatchers, orioles, 2 hawks too. We have only been here 2 years so can't say if there is a change over the years.....
