Hi Lupita, I will leave the cam on all the time once I find a permanent home for it. As it is now I jut put it on this big stump (courtesy of hurricane Jova a few years ago) during the day and take it to the beach bar at sunset. I take it in at night as it is not mounted to anything. I am going to try and get it ready so I can leave it out for the upcoming storm. During the day the cam is directed straight West, that is Tenacatita you see on the horizon. http://www.lamanzanilla.info/web_cam.html  The cam is in the Mickey Mouse stage, I have to unplug the cam when I need to use that USB port on my computer for other things like printing or getting a photo off my cell phone etc. Definitely the good ole days. Glad you are enjoying.....  Here is the current home of the cam (red arrow) it is just balanced there and sometimes changes positions when windy etc.  |
