We renewed our FM3 in Manzanillo. We pre-registered and arrived with our 13 digit #, the Clave #, the orignal "book" form FM3 and our passports. I brought along our 3 months worth of bank statements and CFE bill which was NOT REQUIRED because we had pre-registered. They kept our our old FM3 booklet and our passport. We returned 4 weeks later and got our new FM3 cards and our passports. Easy-Peasy.
