I just sent a copy of my car registration to S%S Auto in Ajijic . They are now helping people legalize cars without going to the border apparently. She said they only do 3-5 per week so as not to be sending large amounts that might encourage a broker to decide to take off with the money like the Tiocorp scam. She also said they have received the first few pedimentos, the numbers were checked on the Govt Website for validity and the people had no trouble getting plates and are now legally driving around. She is going to give me a quote. Will keep you posted on the results. I am not sure if Iwill go with them as I am nervous now about losing more money by sending it away. I really do think it is much safer to go to the border but.....don't really want to go if I can help it. Linda M
