Also known as Brother Dog, BD and Querco (his Mexican name). Another nick name was Dog all dog, there was no part of him that deivated from being a dog in every sense of the word. He was an entity. He was very unique in the way he dug around his frisbee every night on the beach, it brought a lot of smiles to a lot of people. He was proficient in Frisbee and could calculate the angles and wind directions (as if he were human) and make the catch. He loved kids and would always be on the beach playing with their throwing sticks, and would go for a walk on the beach with anyone at anytime. Will he be missed? Yes, that is part of the program I was raised with and I can't get away from it completely. What I would like to focus on is appreciating his presence in my world, I enjoyed the time we had together and that is not diminished by the fact that he is no longer physically here. He was never mostly physical anyway. There is you stumble upon If I'd never have met you you couldn't have gone but then I wouldn't have met you and you couldn't have been I guess it all adds up to joy in the end Josh Ritter |
