From the Reddit thread TIL (today I learned) about Century eggs
https://www.reddit.com/r/todayilearned/comments/3go6es/til_that_eggs_are_naturally_safe_to_store_without/cu05d24
I used to have chickens as pets, they would run loose all day and sometimes
lay eggs in my truck! Their eggs had dark orange yokes and were delicious
(made store bought eggs taste like cardboard).
I loved them so..
