Tamarindo has a 12 inch pipe that flows right down the middle of the main road through town. My understanding it flows 24/7. The free flowing creek is probably the "overflow"' since if they tried to shut off the 12 incher they would probably blow it's connections. Ejido land CANNOT be" legally owned" by non-ejido members-no matter if you are Mexican or WHATEVER. Coastal lands can not be owned by non-mexicans within 30 miles or 50 Kilometers of the coast . This was as far as a cannon ball could fly back in the days of the revolution-which one I'm not sure. Just a few notes for clarification! |
