The skies just opened up here around 3 PM and we've
gotten over an inch of rain in about 30 minutes as the result of a tropical wave (not really a storm) south of us which is moving west. I would guess that we'll get lots more rain today and then it will have moved on. I'm leaving for Merida tomorrow for a week, so Darwin will have to fill you in on anything exciting that brews up while I'm gone. Sounds like Seattle is having better weather than L.M. this month! September rainfall is now up to 7.1 inches without adding in today's total.
