We haven't found the ones in front of Barra/Melaque, and our bay is long and flat bottomed. Your bay has lots more structure and may prevent storms from covering them up.

Up north, folk fasten cinder blocks to a pallet and then put old Xmas trees in the blocks prior to sinking them. Other places use PVC 'trees", and they all attract fish.
