I was shocked and saddened to learn of Abbie's passing. I was a friend and vet school classmate of her brother Ted, and was a resident in surgery at Penn when she was a student. I also learned that she went to Colby College, where my daughter is now a freshman. She was a special person and left this world a better place. She will be missed.
