It has been very upsetting to find that Abbie is gone. I dated her brother, Ted, prior to going to veterinary school, and then I graduated from Penn the year before her, in 1981. I didn't know her except through Ted. But she always seemed like a person with such a beautiful nature - a lovely, kind, smart person who knew what was important in life. I continue to think about her a lot, and will keep her in my prayers.
