Medical Emergency

A huge thank you goes to our newly staffed Emergency Medical team. On New Years Eve at 11pm I lost my balance at the top of our 10 stairs and fell backwards. Rusty made a call and Kim, Willy's wife, and Larry arrived at the scene and went for the ambulance. Our guests Betty Ann and Scott gave much needed support. I was treated with great care and knowledge by Armando and his crew of the Medical Emergency Team and was transported to the Hospital in Cihuatlan. Carrying me up those stairs was no easy job, but with the board it made it much safer. My head was stitched but because of bad signs I was then taken by the Cihuatlan Ambulance to Euchari Hospital in Manzanillo. An xray of my head was immediately taken and 12 hours later a CT Scan. I am suffering from a concussion and a lot of bands and bruises, but all will be well very soon. Thank you to everyone who has offered help. It's so nice to know you have such good friends. Rusty is taking good care of me. I'm not sure what would of happened without our emergency team. 12 years ago when Rusty was bitten by a scorpion and he had a bad reaction there was a doctor at the Central Salud 24/7. I have no idea of what has happen to that situation. The Central Salud is hardly ever open??? Please give them support. They are doing a GREAT job. Rusty has had some EMT training and was impressed by their skill but they desperately need supplies.
