Thanks Deanna for the view from "on high"! I just got my photos out of the camera, taken from the Jardin for a different vantage. A video would have been better...

Interior of the church: the new Padre really went all out with the decorations:



The ignition of the new-style modular Castillo in front of the church (see the boys huddling under their carboard shields in the showers of sparks?):

Toward the end of the show, two angels and a tree ignited below a spinning "Viva La Virgen" wheel:

It was a great finale to the August Festival, and now we can say goodbye to the loud rocket explosions for another year!
