The current situation with its possibility of having a positive outcome has been in my thoughts quite a bit lately. It seems now is the time for a new level of expression / support. Something similar to the highly successful Internet protest against censorship recently, directed to the judge or SEMARNAT or whoever is in position or power to determine the outcome of this situation. I would like to see all the Realtor's across Mexico (and anyone else) express their outrage at the negative results on our industry of having titled properties (with the signature of the president of Mexico) sized. And even more having the owners of a home with Fideicomiso (title and bank trust) awoken in the early morning hours and forcefully and rudely evicted. As a Realtor selling Ejido properties I speak of a path leading from Ejido to titled homes held in Fedicomiso as being the goal, the touch down in the process of owning a home in Mexico. What Villalobos has done is to smash all of that against the wall, and in the process deal a serious blow to the confidence necessary to get foreign investment in Mexico. His land grab, his greed is stealing from everyone. The growth and prosperity which was growing steadily has been curtailed by one person with only their own interest at heart. I spent some time last evening trying to decide who to contact to get this "last" big push happening. I did not succeed in doing that. Partly in frustration and partly in hopes of finding support I have chosen to put these basic thoughts onto this message board, hoping someone who has the next step in their realm of possibilities reads it and helps this expression of discontent to grow.
