| Thanks Daniel, the song is true yet even in La Manzanilla I couldn't find 1 Mexican who knew of the story . This is certainly not to say no one knows it, but for them living so close to San Patricio you would think it would be commonly known . It's the story of the Los San Patricios, and it's an incredible story of heart over tyranny , brother for brother . Ry Cooder produced an incredible C.D.in the last couple of years ,to re-claim the forgotten history.Today, I'll hoist my pint to John Riley from Clifden, County Galway, Ireland . |
