I think that the 10-year-old rule has been changed and is no longer required. But why not just bring the car in with Washington State plates and keep it that way? Or get S. Dakota plates, which don't require that you keep paying for worthless NoB insurance while in Mexico? What is so important about getting Jalisco plates when that will automatically dramatically increase your insurance costs? Also, keep in mind that there is no such thing as a "Mexican" Title. Title will be from the state in which you register the car, eg, Jalisco. In any case, good luck. |
