Wow, MUCHÍSIMAS GRACIAS, Jennifer and Lopez Island School!!! We are extremely grateful for this generous gift.

Also, following up on several questions I´ve received from potential seed and trimmer donations, we´re looking for organic seeds for different varieties of lettuce, kale, arugula, bok choy, Swiss chard, spinach, dill, oregano, basil, etc., but we won´t turn anything down. It´s pretty incredible the variety you can plant here in the winter months!

Also, regarding the seeds, for those of you concerned about bringing seeds down to Mexico on the plane, car, etc., we will start a fund here which we will use to buy organic seeds from our providers in Mexico, and we will provide receipts of all purchases for all donors.

The clippers, however, are harder to find down here. Here´s an example of what we´re looking for: http://www.amazon.com/Fiskars-9921-Softouch-Micro-Tip-Pruning/dp/B00004SD76/ref=sr_1_2?s=lawn-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1414101050&sr=1-2&keywords=gardening+clippers

They don´t have to be this same model by any means.

Finally, since it´s likely we may receive more seeds than we can use in La Manzanilla school garden with the students, Tierralegre would like to make seeds available for those who would like to grow their own plot within the school garden (first come first serve relative to available space, which is limited). And, if there are still seeds left over, then we would like to make some available to the other 6 schools we are working with in the municipality of La Huerta where we have also set up school gardens if that´s O.K. with seed donors. We have already purchased many seeds, but our budget is limited and we recently realized that we need more seeds and clippers.

¡MUCHAS GRACIAS!
