OK, I'll put on the moderator's hat and try to come from there. I will try to separate my personal opinion by posting as D. It seems there are a few topics under this "off topic post" Just so this does not get too confusing I will separate them into separate topics. 1) Using real names i.e. identify posters. 2) Changing subjects. 3) Off topic post Some of the topics do belong on personal blogs. I set up the Blog Updates section as an interim measure to keep personal stuff off the board but still give the people of LM notice. I think I may help if I were to add some step by step instructions as to how to set up a personal blog. I personally don't want to be the decider of what is on or off topic, at least until it is more clearly defined. Here are a few recent post, are they on or off topic? 1) Packing bubble plastic. 2) Germany vs. Uraguay 3) Drowning Doesn’t Look Like Drowning 4) Rain? 5) chiquillo When there is no action on the message board some wonder why? There is only so much that goes on in La Manzanilla, more in the on season for sure. Take for instance this last topic posted by Norma, it went way off topic yet most of the post have around 150 reads, someone is interested. So far we have 4 persons saying that off topic post should be eliminated, I am trying to moderated the board in a way that suits the majority and this subject is certainly open for suggestions.
