Daveeeeed H I am one of those concerned home owners. But I will still not make such careless generalizing comments. I do not find humor in your saying that "littering is a Mexican sport" This borders on racist. And as I said " there are those folks who know better but simply do not care." As you well know,there is always a bad apple in every race or culture. In my years of residing in la Manzanilla, I have participated in many recycling and trash collecting patrols. And helped organized the before Easter and after Easter trash pick up events in years past that involved Mexicans and expats alike, so I am quite aware of the problem. I and our neighbors make sure our street is clean. There are countless of folks, mostly Expats, who do even much more to help with this problem. This is what builds a community. That is what people who care do. Not only for themselves but for their enviroment. Littering is inexcusable but is not a "us" and "them" problem. It is our problem |
