The vapour pressure of propane is the same in a 1 lb, 20 lb or 250 lb or larger tank, and only changes (increases) as temperature changes (increases).
Have someone bring down an adaptor hose (doesn't have to be Weber brand) to connect to a larger bottle. The adaptor costs about $35 in Canada, likely cheaper in the US. I have not found one down here.
If your regulator fails in the future and only gives a low flame, go to Home Depot in Manzanillo and pick up a replacement regulator and hose (in a sealed plastic bag) in the plumbing section (not the BBQ section) and a roll of yellow gas tape. You will need a few more fittings from local stores, then you can hook your Weber BBQ up to your main line or a 20 lb bottle. I tried other regulators from stores between here and HD and none worked properly for the two I changed over. Now they work as good as new, several years later. No problems with the flame control unit.
