My thoughts on street watering- It uses a lot of precious water but who can blame people for trying to avoid all that dust being kicked up by cars and bringing with it toxins into homes and stores. Even adoquin paving doesn't seem to stop the dust. It's problematic- use water to prevent illness from dust or conserve water and get sick? It would take a lot of dinero to pave the whole town and at the rate of financial help from gov't might take 20 years or more. So I guess just cope for now. Life in a small Mex. village is what it is.
Good luck to you Jane and hope you have water soon!
