It is also VERY wise to use a strainer to filter the fuel when you put in into the tank. They make a 3 filter system and you can get them at boat shops or truck stops. Cost is about $100. It will take you about 20 min to fill up as it flows into the tank very slow But keeps out the junk. My friend uses one in Cabo for the past 15 years and has never had a fuel problem. We used one in the Baja 1000 last year in our chase car , a F-350 diesel and was fine. Good luck on your trip. |
