It is always amusing to learn the thoughts of one who thinks that they "belong" just because they or their ancestors arrived sooner than those they admonish. On the water issue (Tamarindo not withstanding), we don't really 'use' that much water. What I wash my dishes with goes back into our water table. Much of what I put on my plants or even in the street, goes either into the water table or into the atmosphere, to be recycled. There is somewhat of a storage factor in pools, tanks and fountians, but for the most part, the water is just passin' thru. Tamarindo takes water out of our dainage and moves it over to theirs........ that is a different thing than our 'local' use. |
