Lynne... Thanks a bunch for your further clues about the link to the NYT article re mexican health care that you saw. I did go to that site but was unfortunately unsuccessful in finding that link. We're seriously thinking of moving to Mexico at retirement in a few years and so that fact you quoted about Mexico being #5 in the world in health care really caught my attention. If true, it makes our decision easier... However, being a natural skeptic, I'm afraid I must remain dubious of this claim without reading it myself. Of course, as you point out, things have really improved with our southern neighbours with respect to health care, but can it really be ranked so high? I mean, Canada was 30th in 1990 and the U.S. was 37th, if I remember correctly. So, If anyone else has this link or has info on this subject that they care to share, por favor & gracias...
