| Interesting enough this is the second well blowout in the gulf. The first one happened in the early 70`s in two hundred feet of water and the tech that was used to stop the leak is the very same being used now. The tech has improved to drill down 5000 feet of water then 20,000 feet into the seabed but the tech used for fixing disasters has remain virtually the same as 1970. Hmmm ...... priorities yet again . There is No money in improving disaster response. Bummer. |
