ok so I looked for the signs when I went back to check wether my dog was still alive, and I can tell you that indeed there were 2 signs. One from 1920s that is old and definitely not well seen as it should be. Two there is a big sign which states many things that one should do on the beach. But when you have children and you go down to the beach, do not tell me that you stop everyone from getting on until you have read the sign. Children and animals do not read sign and of course parents should, so what will keep everyone shut up until you go and read the signs. How about some big RED signs indicating WARNING - crocodiles, maybe write it in English because not everyone speaks Spanish you know. Plus, I am sick and tired of being blamed for what happened, I understand we screwed up because we didn't read the signs and we didn't put the dogs on the leash. But what do you think children and animals can read? NOOOOOO!!!!! THEY CAN'T AND THAT IS WHY SOMEONE SHOULD PUT UP SOME CHICKEN WIRE AROUND THE POND, WHICH WILL COST 200 PESOS!!!! HOW CAN PEOPLE TALK SO MUCH YET NEVER DO ANYTHING WITH THEIR LIVES...Well, that is Mexico for you! I am tired of hearing this, it is about time people get a little more responsible about things. Of course if I could turn the clock back I would do things differently, but I can't and I think it is ridiculous that noone can do anything about it, signs are not enough, chicken wire should be put up to protect children and animals. I am not asking to kill the crocodiles but only to think about this and make this beach safe to enter with children and animals off the leash, both children and dogs! Kate
