There is a lot of truth in some of your posts, I deal with it all the time, here is the deal they steal plates from a vehicle and then steal a different vehicle and change the plates, the owner of the vehicle reports it as stolen and gives the plate number. So the police look for that type of vehicle with the orginal plate number, problem is the plates on the stolen vehicle have already been replaced with other plates. Make sense? So cancel your plates, if they are still registered in your name you can still be responsible for things such as photo radar, if they ever get that there. Also as for the jumpers it happens a lot, all over the world, here in Canada and in the US as well, some people make a living from it. I alwasys remember an episode of MASH with Whiplash Wang the south Korean who kept stepping in front of the US jeeps becuase the hospital bed, food and attention was better than he got anywhere else.
