There are dustborne fungal agents, spores etc, that exist here. From what I understand we have them in the dry and rainy seasons.

They can result in zero to mild to severe illness, including lung infection. These fungal infections are supposedly often misdiagnosed by mainstream practitioners.

There was a case study of habitat for Humanity volunteers who became ill after working on a project in Sonora or Sinaloa.

This problem exists in areas with fugitive dust problems, normally contruction sites and agricultural areas.
