CBC is usually pretty accurate. I think that is why they included the name of their source. Maybe Police director Ruben Hernandez Bonilla was just trying to convey he was "in the know". Maybe someone should contact him to find out exactly what he does know and if he is aware of the what is happening in La Manzanilla in regard to the recent robberies.

I just bought my ticket to PV and since I am traveling alone, I am concerned about taking the bus to Melaque. Its a long trip through fairly isolated territory. Has their been any reports of theft or assault aboard the busses? I have decided not to bring my laptop. Are there still a couple of internet cafes in la Manz?

OK - I'm a fairly adventurous old lady but this cowardly act has me worried. A gun was used on an unarmed, old man. Disgusting!
